Always a Runner, trained by Chad Brown and ridden by Jose Ortiz, won the 152nd Kentucky Oaks on May 1, 2026 at 5-1 odds, paying $13.04 to win, which matches Moss's stated view that she had a great chance to win. The exacta he suggested with Prom Queen missed: Meaning finished second and Prom Queen fifth.
