As Lowry predicted, the US-Iran memorandum signed June 17, 2026 was not resolved: its 60-day window expired on August 17, 2026 with no final deal. His prediction of an extension proved wrong. Pakistani sources told Anadolu on August 12 that the two sides had agreed to extend it, but Iran denied any talks on an extension, and on August 17 Trump said 'No' when asked if he would extend it. Kurdistan24 reported the deadline passed with no agreed extension.
