What Tim Ferriss has said about Artificial intelligence

Ferriss says he is not using AI to write his new book, to avoid outsourcing a cognitive ability he wants to retain.

“I'm working on this new book right now, and it's like, I am not using it to write for me. Because if I do that, I'm done”

Ferriss argues that writing about lived experience is more defensible against AI imitation than writing about ideas.

“If you are writing about lived experience, like I did X, Y, and Z, then I think you have more defensibility”

Ferriss is skeptical that AI will create more leisure, noting past technologies made the same promise.
