Claudia and Jackie Oshry recap the Summer House reunion part two and the Love Island USA season eight premiere, then discuss a Rosemary Kennedy biopic, Kylie Jenner's brand trip and Pink hosting the Tonys.
Summary
Sisters Claudia and Jackie Oshry opened a late-recorded episode after their nephew's bris, noting that Claudia's husband Ben had joined Tyler Cameron on a brand-sponsored trip to a Knicks game. They debated the streaming series Off Campus, with Jackie calling fast-turnover streaming hits fatiguing and Claudia agreeing that shows rarely hold attention, while defending the series as corny but fun.
In the Summer House reunion recap, Claudia argued that castmates opposed to West Wilson and Amanda Batula were now rewriting history to excuse Kyle Cooke's behavior in his marriage to Batula. Jackie focused on Batula's betrayal of Ciara Miller and argued that Wilson sacrificing his public image suggested genuine love. Both found Miller's FaceTime with Wilson's ex, Meija, somewhat lame but informative about his timeline.
On the Love Island USA premiere, the hosts said no early favorites stood out, praised Melanie and contestant Bea, criticized the show's heavy on-camera kissing, and discussed a contestant who left the police force. Jackie objected to Peacock removing cast members over public backlash.
The hosts then discussed Sasha Pieterse's casting as Rosemary Kennedy and the history of lobotomy, criticized Kylie Jenner's Turks and Caicos trip as ineffective marketing for Kylie Cosmetics, with Claudia calling for a rebrand, and closed with Pink hosting the 2026 Tony Awards and her interview with Gayle King.

- Claudia Oshry
Claudia Oshry maintains Off Campus is corny, community-theater quality, though fun if not taken seriously.
“My initial criticisms of the show I do feel are still true. Like, it is community theater”
- Claudia Oshry
Claudia Oshry argues the reunion cast frustratingly rewrote history to blame Amanda Batula for her marriage's problems and excuse Kyle Cooke.
“like when we are rewriting history when it comes to amanda and kyle's marriage like i found that really frustrating”
Listen from 20:26 · West Wilson and Amanda Batula relationship
- Jackie Oshry

Listen from 24:15 · West Wilson and Amanda Batula relationship
- Jackie Oshry
Jackie Oshry says the core issue Batula must answer for is betraying her close friend Ciara Miller.

Listen from 27:35 · West Wilson and Amanda Batula relationship
- Claudia Oshry

- Claudia Oshry
Claudia Oshry says the explicit kissing challenges are her least favorite part of Love Island USA.
“And it's probably my least favorite part of the show. I don't know if that makes me like a prude and nobody agrees with me”
- Jackie Oshry
Jackie Oshry criticizes Peacock for removing cast members over past behavior after public backlash instead of standing by its casting.
“I'm not here to, like, argue with Peacock and be like, you should, like, you know, stand behind the people that you cast”
- Jackie Oshry
Jackie Oshry says a contestant leaving the police force to appear on the show was a strange choice and understands the mayor's objection.
“I do think like leaving the forces to do Love Island is really crazy”
- Claudia Oshry
Claudia Oshry finds Sasha Pieterse a random but competent choice to play Rosemary Kennedy.
“Sasha Peters feels like such a random casting just because like we know her as A”
- Jackie Oshry
Jackie Oshry says some consider Rosemary Kennedy's lobotomy the origin of the so-called Kennedy curse.
“When they talk about the Kennedy curse, they believe that this is the origin of it”
- Jackie Oshry
Jackie Oshry reflects that lobotomy's history raises the question of which current cutting-edge practices will later seem barbaric.
“makes you think about whatever we're doing right now that might seem cutting edge right now that history will remember as barbaric”
- Claudia Oshry
Claudia Oshry argues Kylie Cosmetics feels stuck in 2016 and needs a complete rebrand.
“I think they need a total rebrand um I feel like it should just be called like Kylie not even Kylie Cosmetics”
- Jackie Oshry
Jackie Oshry says Kylie's trip content fails because a successful brand trip makes viewers feel included.
“And the success of a brand trip is like everybody shares everything and you feel like you're there”
- Claudia Oshry
Claudia Oshry calls Pink one of the most well-liked and inoffensive celebrities.
“She's probably one of the most well-liked celebrities ever. she's so unoffensive”
